T.J. Fast Returns to Cyclones Blue Line
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that defenseman T.J. Fast has been reassigned to the club by the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.
Fast, a 23-year old Calgary, Alberta native spent the past three weeks at the Triple-A level with Rochester. During his latest call-up, he went pointless with a pair of penalty minutes in five contests. In total, Fast has 73 career-games of AHL experience with one goal and five assists in that span.
As a member of the 2010-11 Cyclones, the six-foot rear-guard leads team defensemen in scoring (9 goals, 18 assists = 27 points) and is tied for 11th among all ECHL blue-liners. Prior to being summoned to Rochester, Fast had posted points in five of his previous nine games.
Fast will join the rest of the defending Kelly Cup Champions TONIGHT as they return to U.S. Bank Arena to host the Toledo Walleye at 7:30pm.
