Tuesday Thoughts and HP4K News...
After that long week on the road, it's nice to be back home for a change. The Cyclones enjoyed an off-day yesterday to recuperate from the overnight travel and got right back to it this morning at U.S. Bank Arena.
As Jarrod Skalde explained last night at the Coors Light Cyclones Coaches Show, he liked how his team performed for the most part during last week's 4-game stretch. However, he knows that Florida poses a big offensive threat so they will have to stay very committed on defense in order to pick up a couple of wins.
From a roster standpoint, there has been one move. Brady Calla has been recalled to Rochester after a 4-game stint with Cincy last week.
One other quick note...Happy Belated Birthday to Cyclones goalie Chet Pickard, who turned 21 yesterday!!

Congrats to Jeremy Smith, who picked up his second AHL win over the weekend for Milwaukee. He made 33 saves to help the Admirals knock off the San Antonio Rampage.
