THIS PAST WEEK:

About Saturday Night vs. Wheeling: Rookie Cam Reid lit the lamp with just 21 seconds gone in overtime to lift the Cyclones to a 2-1 win over the Nailers in front of 5,072 at U.S. Bank Arena The win extended Cincinnati’s winning streak to three games and helped Cincinnati earn the top winning percentage in the ECHL (.875) through November 5.

About Friday Night in Kalamazoo: Mike Embach finished off a wild, back-and-forth, affair as he scored the game-winning goal with just 2:48 to play in regulation, lifting the Cyclones to a 5-4 victory over the Wings in front of 2,334 at Wings Stadium. It extends Cincinnati’s unbeaten in regulation streak to eight games…the first time in club history they have accomplished this feat.

About Wednesday Night vs. Kalamazoo: Garrett Wilson stuffed home the game-winning goal with just 38 seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Cyclones to a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Wings in front of 1,571 at U.S. Bank Arena. The win also extended Cincinnati’s home winning streak to three games and kept the team unbeaten in regulation play (4-0-2-0).

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:

Southern State of Mind: Riding a three-game winning streak to the ECHL’s best record, the Cyclones will head south this weekend to battle the Greenville Road Warriors. During the Jarrod Skalde era, Cincinnati has had tremendous success against their foes from the South, earning a 21-11-1-0 collectively. Against the Road Warriors, they are 4-2-0-2.

Foster…Australian for Winner: One of the major reasons for Cincinnati's success has been between the pipes. Third-year pro Brian Foster leads the league with six wins and ranks 10th among active ECHL goalies with a 2.40 goals-against average. Coming into the week, his 192 saves are sixth-most.

"O-H" Closing in on 100: Cyclones defenseman Brian O'Hanley is approaching a personal milestone. The Quincy, Massachusetts native needs just 10 points to amass 100 for his professional career. He has 71 points in a Cincinnati jersey.

Pucks and Pancakes: Tonight will mark the kickoff of Pucks & Pancakes, a partnership between the Cyclones, HP4K, Most Valuable Kids and Sugar N’ Spice. Several times throughout the season, MVK will match selected recipient agencies with HP4K and the Cincinnati Cyclones. This experience will allow the players the opportunity to provide outreach to children in our community as well as allowing the selected recipient agencies to be exposed to role models who will promote safety, health and wellness. These agencies will eat a Pancake Dinner at Sugar N’ Spice with the Cyclones HP4K members and then attend a Cyclones game later that week. Twister will be on hand for tonight’s Kickoff event and media are welcome to attend.

Coors Light Jarrod Skalde Show TONIGHT: Join Head Coach Jarrod Skalde and Voice of the Cyclones Nick Brunker at Tap House Grill in Kenwood from 7-8pm as they chat about the perfect week on the ice. In addition, Cyclones forward Jonathan Hazen will be on hand to answer questions, take pictures, and sign autographs!
