Several Cyclones players to participate in HP4K Classic!
Several Cyclones players, including Barret Ehgoetz, Dustin Sproat, Scott Reynolds and former Cyclone Matt MacDonald will join Hockey Players For Kids (HP4K) for the inaugural HP4K Classic on June 23, 2011 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
The HP4K Classic charity game is a way to formally bring together the members of HP4K, various hockey celebrities, and local talent for a day of fun and hockey in the Niagara area. The Classic will give spectators a chance to watch HP4K members such as Darroll Powe of the Philadelphia Flyers, Erik Condra of the Ottawa Senators, Bryan Little from the Atlanta Thrashers, and Mike Moore of the San Jose and Worcester Sharks. It will also feature well-known Niagara resident Kevin Dallman, who has played in the NHL and Russian KHL, along with a chance to see an area NHL Hall ofFame player. The night will include auctions for jerseys and memorabilia - such as an autographed Sydney Crosby Penguins jersey and a Philadelphia Flyers jersey signed by the entire 2009-2010 team. It will raise awareness for HP4K and our community initiatives around the world.
The HP4K Classic will be held at the Gale Centre, 4171 Fourth Avenue, located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on June 23, 2011 at 7:30 P.M. The event will be open to all members of the public, who may purchase tickets for $5 at the door. Tickets may also be purchased in advance at www.hp4k.org. Free admission is offered to children under the age of 12. Proceeds from admission, merchandise sales, and donations will be shared between HP4K, the YMCA of Niagara and the Junior B Niagara Canucks.
