WARM NAMED ECHL GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
The Cincinnati Cyclones, in conjunction with the ECHL, have announced that Beck Warm has been named the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month for October.
Warm, 23, took the crease for three of Cincinnati's four October games, posting a 3-0 record to go with a 1.67 goals-against average and a save percentage of .952.
"It's really nice to get recognized by the league," said Warm. "As a team, we've been playing really good hockey, but this is just the start for us.We have a big goal in mind and this is just the start towards achieving that goal of winning a championship."
Warm picked up wins over Fort Wayne, Kalamazoo, and Iowa during the month of October, stopping 100 of 105 shots faced. The Whistler, British Columbia native signed an AHL contract with the Rochester Americans in the offseason, but was assigned to Cincinnati a week ahead of the club's season starting.
Warm is in his third professional season and his second in the ECHL after playing a large part of the 2021-22 season with Norfolk.
"I've been feeling good to start. I had a season-ending injury last season, so that gave me a good, long summer to prepare and get ready for the new season and it's been a big help for me."
