WARM EARNS CALL-UP TO AMERKS
The Cincinnati Cyclones announced today that goaltender Beck Warm has been recalled to the Rochester Americans; Cincinnati's AHL affiliate. Warm is expected to dress along with for former Cyclones net minder, Michael Houser, for the team's home game Friday night against Cleveland.
Warm, 23, signed a one-year AHL contract with Rochester during the offseason, but was sent to the Cyclones during the team's training camp. In five appearances with the 'Clones, Warm has gone 4-0-0-1 with a 1.76 goals against average and a .943 save percentage. Warm was recognized by the league after going 3-0 in the month of October, as he was named the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month.
A native of Whistler, BC, Warm is in the midst of his third professional season, having began his career with the AHL's Chicago Wolves. Warm has appeared in 15 AHL games, owning an 8-5-1 record with two shutouts.
The Cyclones begin their season long-five game homestand Friday night with the first of two matchups against Indy this weekend.
