BERZOLLA REASSIGNED, OLISCHEFSKI RECALLED

After receiving goaltender Beck Warm back from the Rochester Americans earlier in the week, the Amerks have also reassigned defenseman Zach Berzolla to Cincinnati earlier today. In exchange, Rochester has recalled forward Kohen Olischefski.

Berzolla, 24, skated in Cincinnati's first game of the season, picking up an assist in the team's opening night win over Fort Wayne. He was recalled to Rochester following the game, where the Howell, New Jersey native played in four games and scored his first goal of the season November 9 against Syracuse. Berzolla is on his second consecutive AHL contract, having split last year between ECHL-Jacksonville and AHL-Hartford.

Olischefski, 24, has spent all of his season with the Cyclones thus far, collecting a goal and three assists over seven ECHL games. His four points came in a span of three games in five days. Prior to joining the Cyclones, the Abbotsford, British Columbia native began his pro career in Rochester at the end of last season, skating in three AHL games following his senior year at Providence College.

The Cyclones continue their five game homestand Wednesday evening as they host the Allen Americans.
