BERZOLLA EARNS RECALL TO ROCHESTER

The Cincinnati Cyclones announced today that defenseman Zach Berzolla has been recalled to the Rochester Americans; Cincinnati's AHL affiliate.

Berzolla, 24, signed a one-year AHL contract with Rochester during the offseason, but was sent to the Cyclones during the team's training camp. The Howell, New Jersey native made his Cyclones debut Saturday in Fort Wayne, tallying an assist and two penalty minutes in the team's 7-2 win over the Komets.

Berzolla has experience in the ECHL over the last three seasons, playing for Jacksonville in the 2021-22 season and Florida the year prior. He's accumulated four goals and 20 assists over 67 games.

The Cyclones play their second game of the season Wednesday morning on the road against Kalamazoo.
