BOKA BACK, HOUSER RECALLED AHEAD OF GAME SEVEN
The Cyclones announced today that goaltender Michael Houser has been recalled to the Rochester Americans; Cincinnati's AHL affiliate. In exchange, the Amerks have reassigned defenseman Nick Boka to the Cyclones. Both transactions come prior to game seven of the Cyclones' opening round playoff series against the Walleye this Tuesday.
Boka, 24, returns to the Cyclones for the first time since early February, when he was returned to the club for a weekend. Boka has skated in two games with the 'Clones in 2022. The Plymouth, Michigan native collected five goals and 14 points over his 20 games with Cincinnati over the course of the season. Boka spent more time in the AHL this season, accumulating three goals and four points over 24 games with Rochester. He competed in last year's Kelly Cup Playoffs, winning the championship along with Justin Vaive in Fort Wayne.
