Boka Recalled by Rochester

Cyclones defenseman Nick Boka has been recalled by the Rochester Americans; Cincinnati's AHL affiliate.

  • Boka, 24, signed an AHL contract during the offseason and appeared in exhibition play for the Americans before being reassigned to the Cyclones ahead of the 2021-22 ECHL season.
  • In 10 games, the Plymouth, Michigan native collected two goals and six points, while putting up 30 penalty minutes.
  • Boka becomes the second Cyclones player sent up to Rochester in less than a week, joining forward Dominic Franco who was recalled over the weekend. Overall, the Cyclones have five players up in the AHL that began the year in Cincinnati, with four being in Rochester (Boka, Franco, Michael Houser, Peter Tischke), and Graham Knott up with the Milwaukee Admirals.
