About Wednesday Night vs. Utah: Danick Paquette’s goal in the fourth round of a shootout proved to be the difference maker as the Grizzlies escaped with a 4-3 win over the Cyclones in front of 1,644 at U.S. Bank Arena. Rookie Kevin Sullivan netted his first professional goal in the tilt while Rob Madore played in his 100th professional game.
About Friday Night vs. Fort Wayne: Another night where bonus hockey loomed large, the Komets defeated the Cyclones in a shootout by a 3-2 final score in front of 2,420 at U.S. Bank Arena on Friday night. Josh Shalla scored another last-minute goal to tie the game and help Cincinnati force overtime, while Byron Froese added two assists to run his point-scoring streak to nine consecutive games.
About Saturday Night vs. Kalamazoo: Rookie goaltender Sam Brittain turned aside a career-high 36 saves to earn his first professional shutout, a 2-0 win for the Cyclones over the Wings in front of 4,107 at U.S. Bank Arena. Byron Froese extended his point streak to ten consecutive games by capturing the game-winning goal and an assist.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:
Southern State of Mind: The Cyclones will embark on a three city road trip this week beginning TOMORROW night in North Charleston, South Carolina when they visit the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05pm. Then, after a travel day, they'll lock up with the Greenville Road Warriors at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on Thursday night before rounding out their week at the Gwinnett Center for their only meeting with the Gladiators on Saturday. All three games can be heard on the Cyclones Radio Network beginning 20 minutes prior to the opening face-off and can be watched LIVE at Game Time Sports Bar and Grill in Cheviot!
Southern Comfort: The Cyclones have found solid success over the years against their foes from the South. Including this season, when playing South Carolina, Gwinnett, Greenville, Florida, and Orlando, Cincinnati has a combined record of 48-35-4-2.
Early Goals Get the Win: Through 18 games, the Cyclones have enjoyed the best results when scoring early into the game. They are 5-1-0 when notching the game’s first goal and are 3-0 when leading after 20 minutes of play.
