About Saturday Night vs. Kalamazoo: Curtis Valk's three-point night led the Wings past the Cyclones by an 8-2 final score in front of 5,855 at U.S. Bank Arena. Wade Megan and Andrew Yogan each scored goals for the Cyclones.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:
Back on the Road: After a week of practice, the Cyclones will hit the road for their first two-game weekend of the season as they visit the Quad City Mallards on Friday and Saturday night. The Mallards are one of the seven former CHL teams that joined the ECHL in early October and have split their first two games.
Scouting the Mallards: As of Monday (10/27), Quad City has split a pair of games in their first ECHL season. Benjamin Diedue-Fauvel and Pearce Eviston each have a pair of points to lead the club in the early going. In net, the Mallards have relied on Evan Mosher and Parker Milner; Mosher is 1-0 with a 2.77 goals-against average (GAA) while Milner is 0-1 with a 3.00 GAA.
Megan's Motoring: Cyclones forward Wade Megan has started strongly this season; the former Boston University standout has scored goals in each of his first two games. He now has seven career goals against the Kalamazoo Wings.
Like a "Boss": Rookie forward Joe Basaraba is impressing through a couple of games for the Cyclones. Through two tilts, he leads the team in scoring with three points (1g, 2a).
