TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: With a season high six straight wins under their belt, the Cyclones will close out their busy weekend with their final trip to Evansville this season. Jarrod Skalde’s team has gone 5-3-1 against the IceMen in 2012-13, although Cincinnati has only taken one of the match-ups at Ford Center.

SCOUTING THE ICEMEN: Rich Kromm’s club got demolished last night in Toledo, snapping their three game winning streak and are going to need some serious help to keep their playoff hopes alive as they currently sit 13 points out of the eighth seed. Veteran forward Todd Robinson remains atop the IceMen scoring leaderboard with 59 points (5 goals, 54 assists) in 51 games - his assist totals are best in the ECHL. Josh Beaulieu has also been among Evansville’s best this season, notching 52 tallies in 56 contests. One of their biggest crutches this season, though, has been the team defense; they have surrendered the most goals of any club in the Eastern Conference (214) and are the second-most penalized team (1149 PIMS). Between the pipes, Paul Dainton has been the workhorse of late, starting in the last eleven games for the IceMen. Overall this season, Dainton has amassed an 8-10-1-1 record with a 3.68 goals-against average. Versus Cincinnati, Dainton has gone 1-0 with a 5.20 GAA.

Solid As a Rock: Cincinnati goaltender Michael Houser continues to be the go-to guy in net. After another win last night the rookie has collected an 13-5-0 record with a stellar 2.39 goals-against average. He’s currently riding career-high six game winning streak.

Get Him on The Sheet: Cyclones assistant captain Dan Eves has continued to shine in whatever position he’s played - whether forward or defense. The Cyclones are 12-0-0-1 when he scores a goal and 19-5-2-1 when he notches at least a point.

Collective Effort: This year’s Cyclones team has found offense from all kinds of sources. 23 different players have registered multi-point games for Cincinnati in 2012-13. Mathieu Aubin is the team leader in this category, with 13 such games.
