Goaltender Brian Foster Assigned to Cyclones
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that goaltender Brian Foster has been assigned to the club from the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
Foster, a 24-year-old, started the season in San Antonio and logged 11 games with the Rampage posting a 4-6-0 record with a 3.55 goals-against average. The Pembroke, New Hampshire native appeared in 19 games with the Cyclones last season recording an 11-6-1 record with a .918 save percentage. He was selected by Florida in the fifth round (161 overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
He will join the team tomorrow (Wednesday) in preparation for their Saturday meeting against the Greenville Road Warriors at U.S. Bank Arena.
