The Cincinnati Cyclones have come to terms with goaltender Drew DeRidder on an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement. DeRidder is the second player in less than a week to sign an ATO with Cincinnati and is expected to be with the team for this weekend's games, starting Friday night in Toledo. 

DeRidder, 22, is coming off his senior season at University of North Dakota, where he played in 30 games for the Fighting Hawks. 

In another transaction, Cyclones defenseman Matt Cairns has been called-up to the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals.

• Appeared in 70 games across four seasons with Michigan State University, finishing sixth all-time at MSU in save percentage (.916%). Was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and was named to the All-Rookie team in 2018-19.

• Captured a silver medal at the 2017-18 IIHF U18 Championship with Team USA. Appeared in 2 games, going 1-1. 

• Earned a gold medal at the 2016 Youth Olympic Games. Led the way in the tournament with the best goals against average (1.00) and save percentage (.949%).
