Anthony Bitetto Makes NHL Debut with Nashville
CINCINNATI, Ohio - Former Cyclones defenseman Anthony Bitetto became the 17th alum in club history to make his NHL debut when he played for the Nashville Predators on Saturday, January 17, 2015 against the Detroit Red Wings.
Bitetto logged 11:01 of ice time but did not register a point as the Predators fell to the Red Wings by a 5-2 final score at Joe Louis Arena.
The Oceanside, New York native played 23 games for the Cyclones during the 2012-13 season, posting three points (1g, 2a) and 15 penalty minutes. A sixth-round pick of the Predators in 2010, Bitetto has spent the bulk of his professional career at the AHL level with the Milwaukee Admirals.
Bitetto is the 17th former Cyclones since the 2006-07 season to make his NHL debut, and the second this season. Click here to see the full list of Cyclones alums who have made their NHL debut.
