Cyclones Unveil Specialty Jersey Designs
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, unveiled their specialty jersey designs for the 2014-15 season.
The Cyclones will host five different specialty jersey nights during the year, beginning next Saturday, November 15 with net proceeds going to various charities.
Next Saturday will be the annual "Star Wars Night," featuring special "R2-D2" jerseys. In addition, the first 1,500 kids will receive a Cyclones Light Saber.
On Saturday, December 20, the Cyclones will host the city's largest Ugly Sweater Party, with specialty jerseys to match! Immediately following the game, Full Season Ticket Holders and 24-game package holders will be invited to participate in an exclusive "Skate with the 'Clones" event as well!
Pink in the Rink Night will once again benefit Pink Ribbon Girls on Saturday, January 31. Always one of the fan-favorite promotional nights, the ice will be painted pink and the Cyclones will wear specialty jerseys that will raise money for the local breast cancer support foundation - led by Tracie Metzger.
On Friday, February 27, the Cyclones will host the first-ever "Parrothead Night" at U.S. Bank Arena. The Cyclones will honor Jimmy Buffett by wearing special jerseys and the first 2,000 fans will receive a Cyclones beach towel.
The final specialty jersey night of the season will be held on Saturday, March 14 when they host "Superhero Night" in Downtown Cincinnati. Complete with hero-themed jerseys, the Cyclones will welcome in some of the Marvel characters to U.S. Bank Arena as they battle their nemesis, the Fort Wayne Komets.
The Cyclones will return to U.S. Bank Arena tomorrow when they welcome in the Indy Fuel at 7:30pm. It will be the first Kids Eat FREE Night of the season where fans ages 2-12 will enjoy some FREE food courtesy of John Morrell.
