Cyclones Announce 2013 Preseason Schedule
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today their 2013 Preseason Schedule.
For the first time since returning to ECHL play in 2006-07, the Cyclones will meet the Alaska Aces in a pair of games at Sullivan Arena. The teams will battle on back-to-back nights – Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9 – with both contests beginning at 11:15pm ET (7:15pm AKT).
Both the Cyclones and Aces are coming off of banner seasons. Cincinnati took home the North Division title in 2012-13 and advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Aces earned the Brabham Cup, awarded to the ECHL team with the best overall regular season record, and fell in the second round of the playoffs. Both clubs have won two Kelly Cup Championships.
The countdown to the 2013 First Face-Off is officially on! The Cyclones open the season at U.S. Bank Arena against the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday, October 19 at 7:30pm. The game will be preceded by the Power Play 5K Run/Walk to benefit Pink Ribbon Girls! For details or to register, visit CyclonesHockey.com/5k. Season ticket packages are also on sale now!
