Shalla and Lewis Headed to the AHL
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that forward Josh Shalla has been recalled by the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. In a separate transaction, forward Trevor Lewis has been loaned to the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League
Shalla, Nashville’s fourth-round pick in 2011, leads the Cyclones with 21 goals in 37 games while also contributing 7 assists. This marks his fifth call-up to Milwaukee during his rookie season. He has notched 3 assists in 11 games with the Admirals during 2012-13.
Lewis has totaled 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists) in 18 games for Cincinnati since being acquired from the Reading Royals on January 18th. The first-year pro will be making his AHL debut.
Cincinnati will head north on Friday to take on the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30pm. Fans can hear all the action from Wings Stadium on the Cyclones Radio Network (FM 100 The FAN, America One, CyclonesHockey.com) starting at 7:10pm.
