STORYLINES:

Shooting Blanks:
On Sunday, Chet Pickard earned his second professional shutout, turning aside 28 shots.  It also keeps the Cyclones streak alive of having at least two goalies earn at least one “blanking” during the regular season. This feat has now been accomplished in four consecutive years.

O-H...:  Cyclones All-Star defenseman Brian O’Hanley continues to post league-leading numbers this season.  With a two-assist game on Sunday vs. South Carolina, he now is tied for the team lead with six multi-point games.  He is also tied for third among ECHL defensemen with 24 points and 18 assists.

Stifling the Shots:  The Cyclones have done an exceptional job limiting their opponents offensive chances.  This season, they’re allowing an average of 29.9 shots per games - the sixth fewest in the entire ECHL.
