TONIGHT'S MATCHUP:  After wrapping up a three game set with the Wheeling Nailers on Tuesday night, the Cyclones will now set their sights on the Kalamazoo Wings in the opener of a home-and-home series beginning tonight at Wings Stadium.  This season, Cincinnati is 2-1-2-1 against Kalamazoo including an overtime win last week.  Of the six meetings between the two clubs this season, five of them have been decided by one goal.

SCOUTING THE WINGS:
Kalamazoo returns to Wings Stadium tonight after spending the last six games away from home, posting a 3-2-1 record in that stretch.  They come into the weekend just three points back of Cincinnati in the North Division standings.  Kory Karlander leads the Wings in scoring, posting 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists) in 35 games this year.  He also is the team’s active leading scorer against Cincinnati this year - registering 6 points (3 goals, 3 assists) in 5 meetings.  Ryan Nie has made 745 saves this year, which ranks fourth-most in the ECHL while his 1578 minutes-played are third most.

ROAD WARRIORS: The Cyclones have had their best success away from U.S. Bank Arena this season.  They have won four consecutive games on the road, which is the longest active streak in the ECHL.  Their overall away record stands at 10-5-5.  In fact, they are one of just five teams in the Eastern Conference with double-digit road victories.

ON A TEAR:  Forward Mathieu Aubin has continued to stack up the points for Cincinnati.  He now has put his name on the scoresheet in three of his last four games.  He had a two-goal night last Saturday at Wheeling, including the game-winner with 58 seconds left in regulation.  Aubin is the team leader in both points (29) and goals (12).

ANOTHER RECORD FOR "EGGO"
: On Tuesday night, the Cyclones captain passed Todd Simon for fourth on the Cyclones All-Time point leaderboard...he now has 260.  He now sits just one assist shy of eclipsing Paul Lawless’ career-record of 172.  Ehgoetz is a mere six games away from having the third-most games played in Cyclones history...he will pass Gilbert Dionne, who had 313 games in a Cyclones jersey.
