TONIGHT'S MATCHUP:
Tonight the first place Cyclones make their second stop along a three-city road trip as they face the Elmira Jackals for the final time in the 2010-11 Regular Season.  While Cincinnati leads the all-time series with Elmira, 17-9-0-2, the Jackals lead the 2010-11 season series 2-0-1.  The teams split a two-game, season-opening series back in October.

SCOUTING THE JACKALS:
Elmira leads the Atlantic Division with an 10-3-4-0 record fresh off a split against the Alaska Aces (they dropped a 5-3 decision last night).  Malcolm Cameron’s club is 6-2-2 in their last 10 games.  Justin Donati leads the Jackals in scoring, amassing 25 points (8 goals, 17 assists) in 17 games, giving him a tie for the ECHL lead in scoring.  Marco Cousineau will be between the pipes for the Jackals tonight, sporting an 6-2-0 record with a 3.24 goals-against average.  His six wins are tied for 2nd most of any ECHL goalie while his 722 minutes are tied for 4th most in the ECHL.

A GIFT FROM ABOVE: Tonight the Cyclones will face a Jackals team who are without some of their most dangerous weapons.  Michael Dubuc and Oren Eizenman, both of whom rank in Elmira’s top 3 in scoring, have been called up to the AHL.  Defenseman Patrick Coulombe has also been summoned to the Triple-A level; he has 12 points for the Jackals...including 3 against the Cyclones.

POINTS OF INTEREST: The ‘Clones have now earned a point in ten straight games...the longest such streak currently alive in the ECHL.  They are 6-0-4 dating back to November 3, when they suffered their last regulation loss to Kalamazoo by a 4-3 final.  Cincinnati has outscored its opponent 29-23 during this current stretch.

MULTI-GOAL GLORY: With Dustin Sproat’s pair of goals in Friday’s 4-3 OT loss at Reading, he joins Brett Robinson and Sam D’Agostino as the only Cyclones players this season to log a multi-goal game.
