Cyclones TV: #WindsOfChange
The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today their new branding campaign. This event is the culmination of the club’s #WindsOfChange initiative, which began in early July.
In partnership with Cincinnati-based agency, LPK, the Cyclones have unveiled new branding in conjunction with a complete uniform overhaul. The updated color scheme features red, black, and gunmetal gray, which will be highlighted on the team’s three uniform combinations.
“We’re extremely excited to unveil this new campaign,” said Cyclones General Manager Kristin Ropp. “Our new logo, along with the countless other assets that make up the brand, have helped us take a major step forward in the sports and entertainment landscape. We pride ourselves in bringing the best multi-dimensional value in Cincinnati, featuring championship-level hockey surrounded by an ever-changing variety of engaging activities.”
The club has also launched its redesigned website, CyclonesHockey.com which incorporates the new brand along with vastly improved functionality, design, and aesthetics.
“This is an evolution of the Cyclones Hockey brand,” said Cyclones Director of Marketing Sean Lynn. “We took a lot of things into consideration such as the hockey element, the ‘More Than Just A Game’ element, and much more. If you look at the new mark, it’s very versatile. It’s a bit of a tribute in terms of color scheme and it embodies everything about this organization.”
Merchandise with the new branding is now available at CyclonesHockey.com/shop.
